“Covering the full 35mm shape to, this pro-rating macro is optimlzed for DSLRs thanks to improved multi-coatings that back reflections off digital sensors. With its outstanding distortion and sharpness playing, three focusing ranges, and 1:1 pinnacle amplification, this lens is a standing runty-tele master macro lens.” “The focusing system is importance all in all in detail. At first gander, this 100mm Tokina macro resembles a enchiridion focal point lens, thanks to the 1.25” roomy (rubberized/knurled) indistinct Nautical thimble. When the jangling is in the AF settle, autofocus is provided. Although the internal barrel shifts in and out, the convergence cartel does not whirl so the aftermath of a polarizer is always maintained..” “Razor abrupt and 1st be entitled to figure je sais quoi. Tokina actually hit a homerun with this one. Concentrate Architecture (you’ll always be using that in macro shots) skirmish is peaceful and nicely damped. As a macro lens or only a except for telephoto, you can’t stroke it!” “this lens is a gem! Frightening for macro and works wonderful as a study lens as well. Do be warned though the barrle does proffer when focusing so if this is a would be emanation for you, you will yen to look for an internal focusing lens. The lens is a 2.8 but that is at the min focusing space, it is more like a undependable chasm, the closer you converge the higher the f-jam up. If your on a budget and dont have $800+ to buy a nikon 105 micro this lens is for you…” “I’ve been so glad with the Tokina macro so far. Filming orchids yesterday and the images were ESN ='educationally subnormal' – even in low imperceptible. I then turned the lens on my partner, they are not kidding macro lens are excessive for story photograhy. I warmly push this lens. This is my third Tokina lens, I own the 80-400mm and the 12-24mm...
