so I just got the nikon prostaff in 3-9x40 bdc from d i c k s and im wondering if i should return it for the nikon monarch 3-9x40 bdc. the monarch is on sale for 200 and the prostaff is 170. Is the monarch worth returning my prostaff and paying 30 dollars

A: I doubt that one could find significant differences between the two other than price although I have not tried either one. I have however used Nikon Premiere 8x42 for several years, an outstanding pair.
