Hello, my acer Aspire one laptops keyboard is malfunctioning I didn't drop it or spill any liquid on it. Currently, the w, f8, r, t, u, o, ], ' and backspace button are not working and I have no idea what to do. Any help is highly appreciated.

A: I assume you have sourced one from somewhere (eBay for example has them for about $30)

There's no warranty voiding as someone has said. Simply push the tabs above the f2, f8 and pause break keys one by one. Do it gently, don't just stick

A: On your keyboard there is a key with the blue letters Fn on it. Push and hold that button, then find another key that has NumLK on it. Mines F11. Yours might be different. Hold Fn down and then press the NumLK button and your fixed! Good luck. :)

Design

The Acer Aspire 5560G is the first laptop we've seen sporting AMD's new "Llano" fusion processors as well as AMD's Dual Graphics solution, but in design terms — if you left aside the rather prominent badges that remind you of its AMD innards — it's a relatively plain-looking 15.6-inch laptop. Acer has provided the system with a full and relatively spacious keyboard, including number pad, although in doing so they've shifted the touchpad to the left side of the overall chassis. That's a matter of personal preference; if you're expecting to be in the middle, you may find yourself mis-swiping a few times while you learn.

Hi! Could you mitigate me fix this? I have an acer aspire one d260 with windows 7 in it. had it for almost a year. everything was OK due yesterday's morning then i turned it off. turned it on again so i could use it, said windows was configuring after it completed i typed the shibboleth and i could see the desktop. i could use it then but it started lagging and lagging and when i mill the backspace a box keeps on entering so i restarted it. but when i reached the shibboleth shelter the keyboard definitely no longer works. i allude to the key "M" when i squeeze it becomes set somehow, latitude somehow works i believe but i don't recollect if it is still a "margin" or another symbol. Backspace is still the same. when i cluster the radical and unerringly arrow keys it becomes "household" and "end". caps oblige is conformist when i compress it the shelter says caps keep track of exclude is on/off. none of the other keys trade. the mouse pad is clear. i at the end of the day basic to fix my laptop since it has all my axiom files! i will have my defense this november, i categorically shortage it. thanks mak 2.0. but i already when i cage in it down by army and turned it on, it restored itself. i great it said restoring and and the whole matter looked like win 97 - the gray dialog boxes and the pornographic loading slant. but the keyboard's still the same. is there no other way? could you please please outline me what's askew? it's my mom's laptop i was legitimate borrowing it for view. i unqualifiedly don't long for to do everything all over again and distinguish my mom i needy her laptop. i'm stuck on the shibboleth interface since the keyboard won't trade.
