I've had recent problems with my Acer Aspire One, for some reason the Hard Drive will not load the Linux on it. But for some reason Acer has not identified the problem, and instead put it down to the screen, which the courier cracked on the way to Plymouth.

A: The Acer is a bit more powerful and has a slightly better video system. Also has a webcam which might be a more important decision factor for you...Skype, videochat, etc. I've had both minis and they work fine for the intended purpose....lightweight internet

A: The Acer you describe has an edge on the Fujitsu as far as components go. Not sure if it is true any more, but Fujitsu was only laptop still being built entirely in Japan 3 or 4 years ago. I've used a Lifebook for about 5 years now. Tended to run hot

The Atom CPU is actually no better than a Celeron CPU except in one area, the power consumption (it is very frugal).

I’ve infer from about this computer on several websites.   Amazon.com had the unexcelled outlay. I bought this trend on June 17. By mid-July the room divider started to spark and then died. I troubleshooted this obstreperous by plugging it into my TV proving that it was the LCD cloak that had died in less than 1 month. I acclimated to my covenant and I had to pay to send it to their ritual center in Texas. When I got the computer back the silver screen flickered the same day I got it, so I sent it back to them. The alternative however I got the computer back the formerly larboard side hinge for the LCD sieve was defeated and apparently gouged with a tap driver and it was missing one of the rubber legs on the bottom, so I sent it in again……. I got it back today. Having owned this computer for only over 4 months, only being adept to use if for about 2 months, they repaired the hinge and replaced the rubber leg with a SMALLER ONE. Now it does not even sit balanced. Very failed in Acer. This is my FORTH Acer computer since 1998 and am very unhappy not only in this computer but their restoration utility. I wish all my review here helps someone.

Top netbook!! Got this as a mete out for my birthday, imaginary unimportant netbook. Jam-packed with Bloat-ware though (one of the reasons I rated 4 stars) xp is Cyclopean out of the box for checking emails, present on Myspace/Facebook, googleing your ex girlfriend… (stalker significance!) After about 2 weeks of use, reasonable because of the bloat-ware, and some other features it had to proffer, I unmistakable to connect Windows 7. It runs spectacularly,

The battery from the plant leaves something to be desired as it only last 2 hours on a salutary day. But with the 6 apartment battery I get about 4 hours. What correct is a netbook you can take anywhere if you can’t take it anywhere without a charger? The guard on the acer is awe-inspiring, crystal disentangled, astonishing colors, and its propitious and splendid. The webcam is okay but if you take pictures for Myspace on it or craigslist, you may be dissapointed. It’s color is a bit slow-witted, and the pictures are not the outdo but in all guilelessness I once in a blue moon use it anyway.
